Calgary Keikos

The Calgary Keikos Recreational Swim Club is committed to encouraging overall self-improvement in its organization by providing opportunities to develop skills, knowledge and values necessary for each individual to become a capable, concerned participant in the swimming community.   The club is run by a volunteer board.   

The club focus is on skills improvement, personal achievement and creating a fun supportive environment.   Keikos operates out of Foothills Aquatic Centre Sept through April.   The club runs Tuesday and Thursday regular swim practices with an optional Friday swim.    Throughout the season, Keikos typically hosts two swim meets with other comparable clubs in Calgary.   Swimmers also have an opportunity to swim in four other meets hosted by other clubs in Calgary. 

Competitive swim experience in not necessary.  However, participants joining Keikos should have basic swim skills and be comfortable in the water.
